This is another cute thing that Ollie does. All these little individual characteristics are so adorable to me.

What you see in this picture is Oliver's Kitty Condo where he hangs out, watches thebirds in the woods (when he's not out there chasing them) eats (his food bowl is on the top floor so Bella can't get to it) and drinks his water.

You will notice the small stainless water bowl on the flat "floor" above the circular part...in the far right hand corner.

Ollie doesn't just go to the water bowl and start drinking without "testing the waters" so to speak. He walks up, sticks his left paw in and slings the water. Then
he sticks his right paw in and slings the water. Then he sits down and drinks the water.

You can see evidence of this ritual all over the kitchen floor inthis photo. However, it's so cute that I can't get mad at him. It will evaporate or I can go over it with a mop.....no trouble.

It is so great that Oliver has started sleeping with me again. Bella just looks the other way and yawns when he comes in. That's what she does when she is bothered by something. She's a smart girl, though and she doesn't give him any more trouble.

Petie still has an attitude about it but I just give him that lookand say NO and he goes back to sleep.
